Daughter's Spa Party Blog!

So, my daughter was begging me to have a sleep-over for her birthday party this year. She just turned 8 years old. I finally decided that I had enough money in my budget to create the “sleep-over of her dreams”, according to her (haha). I started looking on the internet for “sleepover stuff”. I looked on several sites, for ideas and such. I showed them to my daughter and she absolutely LLOOVVEEDD the idea of making it a spa-themed party. I once again searched the internet for the best bargain. I came across this site, which I have hyperlinked for anyone who wants to check it out. I was surprised to see the wide array of robes that they had, and not only for kids. I’m not going to lie, I thought about being “that mom” that gets a women’s robe for herself and enjoys herself a little “too much” at an 8 year old’s party (hahaha!). Anywho, I ended up ordering 12 large pink bathobes, that I think were terry robes. In fact, I am pretty sure that they were terry because they were towel-like in nature. I thought that they were the best choice since they’d probably use them again- after showers, pools, and such. But I almost went with the velour though because it looked a little more luxurious. I think that I made the right choice for our particular party though. I also went to the store and picked up some inexpensive bright colored nail polish and various facial products, because I thought that it would be really fun for the girls to do girlie things. Oh yeah, and I also picked up a lot of snacks (don’t worry, the majority of them were healthy!) The girls had such a good time getting pampered! All of their mothers said that their daughters wanted to have a spa sleep-over parties too! So, I wanted to provide some insight & info to all of the mother’s out there that are trying to create a good birthday idea, and get more bang for your buck! Let me know how it goes! Much love XOXO
